  5. OK what's going on ;-) Have the consultants finally managed to lock the Manager in the laundry cupboard and taken matters into their own hands? :-)

I can but hope .. but do spill the proverbials ..

  6. You sold that 'Jesus/Elvis in custard' pudding from last week, didn't you!

  7. Well, not much of an improvement in the view, but at least it's a change from the old wall.

I hope you don't discover that you have another batty old dear in the next room to put up with.

Please do sample the private patients' menu. It will be interesting to see if we can spot the diference.

  8. I'm liking those yellow window surrounds - I'm going to have to redecorate.

  9. A view? Luxury! When I landed in a certain South Manchester Hospital (like I'm going to admit which one, just in case...) I occupied my mind using the shadows to work out which way was north! (sad I know). To be honest, it was when I got out that I knew where I actually was (medevaced by ambulance) but at least I knew where north was!
Thanks for the notes, I must admit I did not have to eat the "food" and escaped before they could do much more!

    TTFN & keep smiling!

  10. Hah, those faceless hospital managers have given you a room with a view. A Hitchcock film springs to mind here. And don't expect the private patient menu to be any different considering it's the same "chef" who does both. It will just be a fancier named shite. Least that's what it is in my local hospital. I will eat my hat (but definitely not one of those meals) if it is any better.

  17. TM.... glad you got a better view.... Did you actually count the bricks out of curiosity at some time through boredom ?

    Ness..xx

  18. No, I didn't count the bricks. I might have been bored but I couldn't think of a single reason to count the bricks.
